Do I need to know how to code?
Not at all! While coding is a big part of many projects, hackathons are about more than just programming. We encourage multidisciplinary teams, so designers, writers, researchers, and idea strategists can contribute in valuable ways.
We are also hosting a series of workshops designed to help educate you, and build up upon or develop new technical skills!
Personal Website Workshop

This workshop will introduce the fundamentals of web development. You'll learn how to build and publish a personal website using basic HTML and CSS, with optional JavaScript. By the end of the session, you’ll have a simple website live and online.
Introduction to Programming (Lecture Series)
The lecture series will be 4-5 PM every Monday and Wednesday, April 2nd - April 30th.

This peer-led lecture series offers an easy and supportive introduction to programming in Python. The course emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, using relatable examples—such as economic word problems—to demonstrate how programming can be a useful tool in a wide range of fields. Each week builds on the last, allowing participants to gradually develop their understanding and confidence.
