About the ACM Hackathon

Welcome to Allegheny College ACM Student Chapter’s first-ever hackathon! This isn't just another coding competition - it's a celebration of what happens when different minds come together to innovate.

Whether you are a computer scientist, artist, musician, political scientist, or from any other field - this hackathon is for everyone. We believe the most creative solutions emerge when diverse perspectives unite.

We challenges you to think beyond traditional boundaries. True innovation happens when we combine our unique talents and viewpoints to create something greater than what any individual could achieve alone.

What Makes This Hackathon Special?

  • Cross-Disciplinary Innovation - Connect with students from different fields to create solutions that bridge multiple domains
  • Learn & Teach - Share your expertise while gaining new perspectives from others
  • Real Impact - Build projects that demonstrate how collaboration can solve complex real-world problems
  • Inclusive Environment - No prior coding experience needed - your unique perspective is valuable!

Join us in Alden Hall - April 12-13, 2025 to experience how collective genius can change the game!
